Learning French can be daunting. I have developed a teaching technique that helps students of all levels. Whether you want to converse in French or learn from scratch, je suis là.

My background

Methodology
  • Masters in Modern Languages (English and Spanish) from the University of Perpignan, France.
  • Experience teaching younger children aged 6 to 13 and adults.
  • All lessons are tailor-made and fully adaptable. I will help you strengthen your conversation abilities and communicate with confidence!
  • For classes face-to face, I will organise visits to the markets and shops and assess your reactions in a live situation.
  • You can come to me or I can travel in the CBD or surroundings. Skype sessions are also available.
During the first hour we will assess your level in French and organize a study plan. I am a French native-speaker from Perpignan, recently moved to Adelaide after twenty years overseas (10 years in the UK and 10 in Australia). I gained my French teaching experience in Sydney and would like to help you improve your French. I offer all levels of French conversation and writing. You will learn and improve your vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar via Skype or through face-to-face sessions, which ever suits you. The face-to-face sessions are also designed to help you discover more about the French culture over coffee or a glass of rosé.

French is not an easy language. Understanding when to pronounce letters or not can be very challenging, especially for beginners. Working with me, a native French speaker, you will learn to correctly pronounce French words right from the start. This will help prevent you from developing bad habits. To ensure you hear my pronunciation clearly on Skype, be sure to use good quality headphones. I can also provide you with audio exercises to improve your understanding and pronunciation of French.
